Introduction

The GSPS was initiated in 2000 to collect information on tobacco use, knowledge and attitudes of school personnel toward tobacco, existence, and effectiveness of tobacco control policies in schools, training, and materials available for implementing tobacco prevention and control interventions.

Methodology

• All schools selected for GYTS eligible
• All school personnel eligible
• Confidential self-administered questionnaire
• Names of schools or personnel are not collected and participation is voluntary
