Open on Angie in her car, cigarette in hand at fast food drive-thru. The drive-thru attendant covers his mouth and coughs LOUDLY while giving Angie her change.
ANGIE: Yes, I'm a smoker.
Angie continues driving and stops at a red light. She looks over at two teens in the car next to her. They spot her cigarette and give a look of disgust.
ANGIE: And yes, I'm aware I should quit.
Pan out to reveal Angie's husband in the passenger seat. He sprays a bottle of air freshener all around the car with a look of annoyance.
ANGIE: I get pressure from everyone I love.
ANGIE: And everything around me.
The Surgeon General comes on the radio: "Smoking is really, really bad for you."
On the horizon a number of billboards come into view: "YOU SHOULDN'T SMOKE." "SMOKING IS EXPENSIVE." "CIGARETTES ARE GROSS." "CANCER! HEART DISEASE!"
Angie finally comes to a halt at a stop sign.
ANGIE: Yet sometimes that pressure alone is enough to make me want to light up.
