Description This is a package of five :06 second digital/social media videos, each in two formats.
Smoking is the leading cause of preventable death. Big Tobacco spends millions marketing their products in ways that appeal to youth. Tobacco companies deny targeting youth directly. However, tobacco companies know 90% of smokers start before they are 18 years old. Through innovation and sneaky tactics, they continually look to gain replacement smokers for their products.
This campaign works to:
- Educate the priority population (youth) about Big Tobacco and how they target youth to be replacement smokers.
- Build awareness among youth about the dangers and effects of tobacco use and educate about emerging tobacco products, including vaping
- Empower youth to reject the manipulative tactics by the tobacco companies.
