Goals:
The “I Bike Boston” campaign’s purpose is to increase bicycling and physical activity by people who know how to ride a bike. The campaign’s goal is to promote local opportunities and resources that support biking in Boston’s neighborhoods.
Strategy:
The campaign aims to change norms and beliefs about who bikes in Boston and to connect residents with resources to bike safely in the Boston area.
Results:
To help inform campaign development, developers met individually with teams from 8 of Boston's Healthy Community Champion (HCC) neighborhood groups. Typically, there were 4-8 residents in each of these meetings were ran like mini focus groups.
