Estimated Years of Life Lost (YLL) due to Diabetes, United States, 2013Years of life lost (YLL) due to diabetes measure the number of deaths due to diabetes as a proportion of the total YLL lost in the population due to premature mortality multiplied by a standard life expectancy at the age at which death occurs.
